The Callanwolde Winter House Returns this Holiday Season!
Immerse yourself in all that Callanwolde has to offer through a welcoming, family-friendly art experience this holiday season! Filled with twinkling lights, laughter, and delectable treats, Winter House offers 9 days of art and holiday magic all in one place.

The 27,000 square-foot historic mansion will be filled with laughter, holiday magic, activities, and workshops for all! Cozy up next to a blazing fire in the Wine Bar and Beer Garden, and step outside to make s’mores by the outdoor fire pits as jazzy holiday tunes fill the air. Sip on mulled wine while playing classic board games in the library, build and decorate your very own gingerbread house, and be sure to explore the holiday artist market for that special gift this season! The Big Guy in Red will even make his appearance, so don’t miss Santa’s trip to the mansion for photo sessions with friends and family (even the four-legged members).
Workshops
Experience Callanwolde’s most popular year-round classes throughout a series of mini workshops! Beginners classes include Throwing Pottery at the Wheel, Raku Firing, Jewelry Making, and Blacksmithing. Callanwolde is also offering Gingerbread House Making, Glass Etching, and more!
Cozy Entertainment
Who could ask for a better gift than a lasting memory? Decorate a ceramic mug or ornament, including snowflakes, dreidels, gingerbread men, stars, snowmen, kitties, and dog bones! Afterward, write your letter to Saint Nick, then cozy up and wind down with some classic board games like Scrabble, Chess, Monopoly, and Trivial Pursuit.
Food & Drinks
Nibble on a delicious charcuterie board alongside mulled cider or even pair a hot pretzel with beer! Food trucks, s’more kits, cinnamon rolls, and coffee will also be available.
Shopping & Art
Shop throughout the 2,000 square-foot gallery filled with items for sale designed by Callanwolde’s very own artists. Unique, high-quality items include pottery, jewelry, scarves, and more!
Kid-Friendly Fun
Kids of all ages are invited to play family-friendly board games, get their photo taken with Santa, and make s’mores by the fire pits! Children will also receive free holiday bags that include a fun scavenger hunt, coloring, and a variety of activities.
Live Music & Performances
Each evening will feature live dance or musical performances, including an array of pianists most evenings.
