Q&A with Dixon Raney
Atlanta-born agent, Dixon Raney, lets us in on his career in real estate. Currently living in Inman Park, Dixon’s firsthand knowledge of Atlanta’s in-town neighborhoods combined with his understanding of today’s market makes him the obvious choice.
Before real estate, Dixon attended Auburn University where he earned a degree in Entrepreneurship and Small Business. After graduation he was on a mission to travel and experiencing new cultures. Starting in Louisiana and then onto Breckenridge and ending with nine months in New Zealand. Once back in Atlanta, he felt it was time to put down some roots.
Uninspired by the job market, Dixon jumped at an opportunity to shadow his stepmom Becky Morris, one of Atlanta’s top agents. After a successful outing and coincidental connection with Becky’s clients, Dixon was hooked. Dixon soon got his license and started working as a full time agent. Not long after he and Becky partnered up to form Morris Raney Real Estate.
Q&A with Melissa Morris Fuller
Melissa Morris Fuller is a Peachtree Hills resident, University of Georgia graduate, and Atlanta native. Since launching her real estate career in 2017, Melissa and the Morris Raney Team have maintained a top 5% team city-wide. Melissa’s previous career equipped her with account management and marketing skills that seamlessly translate into the real estate industry.
Growing up in Brookhaven, Melissa attended both St. Martin’s and St. Pius X before heading to the University of Georgia in Athens to study Advertising. After working in the corporate fashion industry, Melissa began exploring alternative career options that would offer her more freedom than a regular 9-5 job. After a long dinner with her mother, top Atlanta agent Becky Morris, at their favorite Brookhaven restaurant Haven — Melissa signed up for a real estate course that same night. She spent her first year learning the ins-and-outs, finding her rhythm, and creating strong relationships with her clients who quickly become her friends.
When Melissa isn’t attending closings and spending time with her clients, you can find her at Taqueria del Sol with her husband Will, or walking around Peachtree Hills photographing the neighborhood dogs for her @PeachtreeHillsPups Instagram account.
Melissa has continued to master her skills within the industry, all while working closely with her mother Becky Morris and brother Dixon Raney on the Morris Raney Team. Priding herself on her extreme attentiveness and ability to understand the needs of each client she works with, Melissa continues to ensure every transaction with her clients is enjoyable. Read More

What is it about Atlanta that makes it such an attractive place to build and sell new homes?
“There is a huge amount of new construction going on in my neighborhood, Ashford Park, in Brookhaven and in surrounding neighborhoods,” said Becky Morris of the Morris Raney Real Estate Team. “All of the areas around Atlanta’s beltline are hot right now. The beltline has been a driving force for new development. As the beltline expands, the development follows.”
