Start the weekend off with the Festival 5K, stroll through the artists market, and catch some live music! Kids can work up an appetite with fun and activities before enjoying delicious food from local vendors. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome!

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS

5K Road Race

Kick off the day’s festivities at 8:30 a.m.! The gently sloping race courses through the heart of the historic neighborhood. Pets and strollers are welcome to join in the race, and runners will receive a free beer or sangria ticket to enjoy during the Spring Fling Festival following the race! Registration also includes a complimentary race shirt.

Tour of Homes

Tour Kirkwood’s historic homes, new construction homes, and creative renovations! Both interior decoration and outdoor spaces will be on display, offering sponsors a truly special opportunity to reach neighbors.

Wing Fling

Bring your best wing game to challenge for awesome prizes and bragging rights as Kirkwood Wing Fling champ! Sponsor the Wing Fling to have your name on the event, designate a judge, and receive on-stage recognition. 

Kids Area

Located in the center of the large field at Bessie Branham Park, the Kids Area has fun activities for younger family members with tickets or wristbands for sale. Set up a picnic blanket nearby and enjoy the fun!

Food & Drink

In addition to great neighborhood restaurants, food vendors will also offer a street festival staples, including: pizza, funnel cake, gyros, sandwiches, and more. Quench your thirst throughout the day with locally brewed beer, sangria, and bottled water!

Artists Market

More than 150 artists typically participate in the Spring Fling, and the Market features some of the best talent from Atlanta and the Southeast! You’ll find beautifully handcrafted pottery, jewelry, paintings, and other home art at this year’s festival.

Beneficiary

All proceeds benefit the Kirkwood Neighbors Organization, a local 501c3 non-profit dedicated to community improvement.
