Showcasing celebrations from around the globe, the Winter Wonderland: Celebrations & Traditions Around the World fills Fernbank Museum with over two floors of twinkling, beautifully decorated trees throughout the holiday season!

Admission to Winter Wonderland is included with Museum admission and free for members.

The variety of trees will be adorned with twinkling with lights, glimmer with color, and shine with a variety of cultural objects.  The displays throughout the museum recognize the diversity of celebrations, holidays, traditions, and events from around the world.

New Outdoor Experiences 

  • Snow Globes 
    Reaching up to 7 feet tall, six giant snow globes showcase the best of the holiday season, including sledding, gingerbread houses, New Year’s Eve, and more! 
  • Sock Skating Rink 
    Skip the skates and enjoy a wintertime tradition not often 
    experienced in the south!

Companion Exhibit 

  • 68 Voces / Voices  is an animated artistic series, narrated in 68 Mexican indigenous languages. The exhibit  highlights the cultural treasures and heritage behind the tales of an indigenous community rich in traditions.
