Old 4th Ward 5K Returns Virtually and In Person!
Back for another great course through the historic neighborhood of the O4W, the 7th Annual Old 4th Ward 5K offers options to run both virtually and in person for 2024!

The race begins and ends on North Avenue directly across from Ponce City Market.
The race kicks off in the Historic Old Fourth Ward park across from Ponce City Market, running throughout the O4W, including Auburn Avenue where the MLK Jr. Historic District is located. Participation in the event benefits Hope-Hill Elementary, a traditional K-5 elementary school educating more than 430 students in the Old Fourth Ward. Organized in 2014 by neighborhood parents and community leaders, the Hope-Hill Elementary Foundation exclusively supports the elementary school.
Most recently, the Foundation providing a complete re-imagination of the school’s classrooms into STEM learning spaces, supported professional development for teachers in addition to annual funding for the PTA, and provided enrichment opportunities for the students!
